The emotional message was posted nearly one month after her mother and co-performer, Naomi Judd, 76, died by suicide — a shocking event that stunned the entertainment world.
Wynonna, 57, said she initially wasn’t sure what to share with fans, but after pondering some of the facts and realities, decided to share a list of things she is currently sure of in her life.
The singer began with a candid admission about her mother’s tragic death.
“I DO know that the pain of losing Mom on 4/30 to suicide is so great that I often feel like I’m not ever going to be able to fully accept and surrender to the truth that she left the way she did,” Wynonna wrote. “This cannot be how The Judds story ends.”
She also wrote that she must show up and work on healing herself to “break the cycle of addiction and family dysfunction.” Wynonna also offered her candid feelings of helplessness and grief.
“I DO know that I feel so helpless — right now especially,” she added. “I really DO know that I’m not able to do this grieving thing all by myself and that it’s okay to reach out for help. I will continue to fight for my faith, for my SELF, for my family, and I WILL continue to show up & sing.”

As Faithwire previously reported, Wynonna has spoken of her faith after her mother’s death.
While performing during CMT’s “Naomi Judd: A River of Time Celebration” in honor of Naomi Judd, Wynonna proclaimed, “I want to be spontaneous because the God I believe in is Pentecostal!”
Continue to pray for Wynonna, her sister, Ashley, and other family members as they navigate this difficult situation.
