“Watch as strategically deployed [NYPD 68th Precinct] officers who were on their daily transit inspection came to the rescue when a passenger suffered a medical episode and fell onto the tracks minutes before a train rolled into the station,” a tweet from the New York Police Department reads.

The incident occurred Monday around 8:30 a.m. in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, when the 25-year-old woman fell onto the R tracks and officers, as seen in harrowing bodycam footage, quickly jumped into action.
Moments before the incident, the woman can be seen walking until she suddenly collapsed and fell right onto the tracks — a potentially deadly situation had no one been there to help.
In fact, a subway rolled in just minutes after the rescue, underscoring the potential danger, ABC News reported.
One of the officers jumped onto the tracks to grab the woman while the other helped move her to the platform. The woman sustained a head injury and was in stable condition after the incident.
Thankfully, the cops saved the day and the rest is, well, history.
