Christian real estate entrepreneur Jason Benham is trusting God “for complete restoration” after his 12-year-old daughter was in a serious tubing accident Tuesday.
Benham — one half of a twin duo known for their outspoken Christian views — first shared news of his daughter Lundi’s incident on Facebook, telling fans and followers she was in “a tubing accident” that ended with her receiving “33 stitches on and beneath her eye.”

In his post, he also revealed she sustained a concussion and a fractured orbital bone.
“The bigger issue is that a fragment of bone and some tissue has leaked down beneath her eye, which has hindered her ability to move her eye downward and has given her double vision,” he wrote. “The doctor suggested surgery sooner than later, but needed to send us to a specialist at the Children’s Hospital in Charlotte.”
Benham posted an update in the wee hours of the morning Wednesday, writing his daughter was released to go home at around 1:00 a.m. because the eye she had not been able to move most of the previous day finally showed signs of movement.
Once the swelling has subsided, he added, Lundi — who also chipped four of her bottom teeth — will return to the hospital for surgery within a week.
“It really is an answer to prayer,” he wrote. “Around 4 p.m., I saw her eye literally stuck, so she couldn’t move it. Now she’s moving it. So cool. Thank you, Lord.”
“So we will go home and we will pamper her and the swelling will go down and then she will go back and see the surgeon for a new game plan,” Benham explained. “Thank you all for your prayers. I know the Lord did something cool here. Believing for complete restoration. We love you all.”
Benham asked for continued prayers for strength for Lundi, adding, “I have heard her several times praying under her breath, as I thought she was sleeping. She’s such a strong little girl! So proud of her.”
“[My wife] Tori Benham has been a trooper,” he continued. “Pray for strength for her, as well.”
