A brewery in northeastern Tennessee recently hosted a drag show featuring adults dressed up as Disney princesses in an event marketed toward children as “family friendly.”
On Saturday, the “Chattanooga Pride Youth Day” was held at Wanderlinger Brewing Co.
One of the clips from the event — shared by conservative activist and former congressional candidate Robby Starbuck — showed a very young girl touching the crotch area of an adult performer dressed as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.”
The concerning event, which did not appear to be promoted on the brewery’s website, was put on by the Chattanooga Pride/Tennessee Valley Pride, describing itself as an organization “celebrating diversity in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and combining our LGBTQ Resources to raise awareness, educate, and improve our community with dignity.”
A Facebook post describing the event stated: “As we celebrate leading up to the festival on October 2nd, come hang out with us at Wanderlinger Brewing Company for our annual Pride Youth Day. … Featuring speakers/discussions, princess meet [and] greets, drag queen story time, and a family friendly drag show!”
Yet another drag queen, presumably dressed to look like Winnie the Pooh, performed a provocative dance, spreading his or her legs in front of the families — and kids — gathered for the show.

Starbuck in his Twitter thread wondered why law enforcement weren’t intervening.
“Where’s law enforcement?” he wrote. “We won’t allow this continue. In Tennessee, there will be no safe space to be inappropriate like this with kids. We WILL stop this!”
“We will be watching every move the left makes to do this in Tennessee and we will be reporting to the public, to the politicians, and to the police until this stops,” added Starbuck. “Tennesseans: Send this to your reps and ask them to stop this and to work with us on legislation to protect kids!”
According to Starbuck, who claimed he contacted law enforcement, he was told by someone with the Chattanooga Police Department that “there was nothing they could do about this adult spreading their legs for kids, the adult who let a kid rub their crotch or the establishment that had kids at the bar.”
Thousands of people reacted to the video footage shared by the former congressional candidate.
Some social media users called it “absolutely disgusting” while others condemned it as “sick and demented perversion.”
“I’m wondering where are the parents?” wrote someone else. “Do they find this acceptable?”
