Jenn Nizza, who spent more than two decades as a medium before becoming a Christian, recently told CBN’s Faithwire about the dangers associated with Halloween.
When asked why she so openly shares her testimony of leaving the occult and finding Christ, Nizza was candid.
“The gravity of my salvation is so heavy, because Jesus saved me out of the occult,” she said. “I was directly serving the devil for 25 years of my life. So, I was saved at age 37.”
The ex-psychic said she hopes to spare others from her spiritual mistakes.
“I would never want to see anybody go through the demonic oppression that I went through, and that is the consequence of going to readings, going to readers, playing with any divination tool,” Nizza said. “The consequence is always going to be demonic oppression.”
The ultimate issue with exploring these tools — practices the Bible condemns and explicitly warns about — is “eternal separation from God,” she said.

Nizza also said she’s motivated by love for others in sharing her journey.
“It’s love for our neighbor, and it’s the love of Christ that compels me to really shout it from the rooftops,” she said. “Don’t go near that stuff.”
As Faithwire previously reported, Nizza also discussed Halloween, telling Christians taking part in the day can be “very spiritually dangerous.”
She rebuffed claims from some believers that Halloween can in any way be “redeemed” and celebrated in a more positive or uplifting way.
“Halloween, I really believe, opens demonic doors,” Nizza said. “And the season itself promotes divination … it pushes out the Ouija board, witchcraft. You see it in stores, on social media, sweatshirts.”
