The popular social media account Libs of TikTok has already been censored on Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter rival for posting a scientifically factual statement about human biology.
Threads, the new microblogging app from Facebook parent company Meta, allegedly deleted a post from the Libs of TikTok account, run by Chaya Raichik, after she stated “[n]on-binary isn’t real.”
“Your post on Threads goes against our Community Guidelines on hate speech or symbols,” read a notification from Threads, according to Raichik. “Our guidelines encourage people to express themselves in a way that’s respectful to everyone. If you think we made a mistake, you can ask us to review our decision.”

Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee, responded to the reported censorship by joking, “If you hate truth and love censorship, Threads is the place for you.”
Earlier this week, in a separate post to Twitter, Raichik stated that — despite Threads’ purported censorship of her post — she had received a slew of hateful messages directed toward her.
“It’s clear that the biased censorship from big tech is still thriving everywhere except Elon’s Twitter,” Raichik said in a statement to the Daily Caller. “I think I’ll stick with Twitter.”
