Actress Patricia Heaton is continuing to boldly defend Israel following Hamas’ deadly terror attack, taking at least one politician and some journalists to task.

The “Everybody Loves Raymond” actress hit back this week at Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) after the congresswoman accused Israel of bombing a Palestinian hospital.
Israel has repeatedly denied attacking the medical facility and media have begun casting doubts on the initial Hamas narrative that the Jewish state was responsible for killing potentially hundreds inside.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital, killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that,” Tlaib wrote on X, with the message still live and on her account when this piece was published. “@POTUS, this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire [and] help de-escalate.”
She continued, “Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood.”

Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many… https://t.co/mZYoifT7bj
The congresswoman’s tweet has numerous reader citations under it on X, with these caveats citing “high confidence” from U.S. intelligence that the bombing was caused by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a radical group, and not Israel. Some have said it was a “misfired rocket” launched from inside Gaza.
Heaton took issue with Tlaib’s X message, publicly rebuking the politician in a strongly-worded message of her own Wednesday evening.
“Hello @RashidaTlaib – this tweet is a straight-up lie, yet you refuse to take it down despite knowing it is causing rioting around the world,” the actress wrote, “Is it your goal to foment violence and divide people? Shame on you.”

Tlaib’s proclamations went far beyond the tweet, too, as she reportedly spoke at a protest Wednesday and again claimed Israel was responsible for the bombing.
She also accused the Biden administration of funding a “genocide” against Palestinians.
SMH – @NBCNews uses #Hamas as their “news” source. “Palestinian health officials” are #Hamas. Other media outlets are doing the same. They have completely delegitimized themselves and destroyed the last crumb of integrity they had. https://t.co/bMCW53c9de

As for Heaton, her X account continues sharing information supporting Israel. On Thursday, she highlighted what she sees as journalistic malfeasance.
“@NBCNews uses #Hamas as their ‘news’ source,” she wrote, commenting on an NBC report. “‘Palestinian health officials’ are #Hamas. Other media outlets are doing the same. They have completely delegitimized themselves and destroyed the last crumb of integrity they had.”
These “journalists “ are un-effing-believable. They are openly anti- Israel and seem perfectly comfortable letting the whole world know. Good on Jonathan for pushing back on this shameless woman. https://t.co/bIkfmzmr1P

Heaton also decried “openly anti-Israel” journalists for asking poor questions, as you can see here.
